I have the privilege of co-creating Te Kakano with my beautiful cousin Te Huinga. I have craved to find a Māori community where I was not judged for the little I knew about Te Ao Māori. I have met so many Māori like myself who crave to learn more about our roots, our ancestry, our mythology and how it is all interconnected with one another. I have been the student that felt lost in the class and out of place, so I planted a seed; an intention that one day I would create a safe place to connect, learn and grow with more like-minded individuals, and here we are - Welcome, it's my pleasure to have you here with us!
